I am lacking time, but I want to post something for the byhand challenge "walnut ink backgrounds", because I love walnut ink backgrounds! Here's some old work of mine. It was crow themed, a set of 3 ATC. Can't remember with whom I traded them. I love to look back at some old work of mine.

Golden Wedding

A friend of mine asked me to create a gift for her parents golden wedding (50 yrs of being married). That's what I came up with:

Russian Birthday Wishes

It has been a while now that I digged my fingers in paint and glue. And oh how did I love it!
Yesterday a friend of mine told me that she is invited to a birthday party (39) of a friend who is in love with Russia. She pondered if she should go or not and what to give. So remembering my russian skills that I learned ages ago at school, I told her to help out with the gift. So yesterday in bed I came up with the idea of making a canvas. Of course it turned out totally different from what I had in mind, but I loved the process and the result.

Creative Wednesday

I have been very busy today as some deadlines of art swaps are approaching. I enjoy some time for myself (and the baby) and got a few things done while having the baby in the sling. It took me 3 days to finish this page for a fat book. It's made with watercolour paints and rubberstamps from Quietfiredesign (Quote and Flourish), Oxford Impressions (Nest) and Stampington (Text). It measures 20 x 20 cm.

Finally I also sewed the pillow case for a swap via Club Creative. Sandra is my partner and she wished for something that would match her brand new bedcover. I made a pillow case that has a pocket for a little journal to keep ideas. There's also a pen holder and pencil so you have something to write at hand when the ideas keep poping in your head while you snuggle on your couch.

Nature Journal

I am taking part in a nature journal RR with 4 other players in Norway, USA and Romania. How exciting. This is my journal and the first entry. It will travel to Romania next.
