I signed up for a theme box swap via Club Creative. Only now I come around working on it. The theme of my box will be motherhood. During the RR it will be filled with art of the other participants according to the theme. This is the box from the outside:
Seelenruhig forderte vor einer Weile auf, das Leben in rosarot zu sehen. Da wollte ich doch mal schaun, was mir dazu einfiel. Ich muss gestehen, daß sich mein rosa immer ein bisschen ins purpur oder lila kehrt. Aber ich glaube, es geht dennoch durch. Schaun wir mal, was mir so rosanes eingefallen ist:
Diese Blumen hat meine Tochter eines Tages von der Schule mit nach Hause gebracht. Ein riesiger Strauss von irgendwelchen verschnittenen Büschen. Der Strauss steht noch immer auf dem Balkon.
Noch immer im Nestmodus, habe ich den Stubenwagen für das Baby hergerichtet. Ein rosa-blauer Himmel, der durch die Lichtbrechung die Athmosphäre in der Gebärmutter nachahmt, so sagen die Anthroposophen. Dazu die Verkleidung des Korbes, genäht aus einem alten Bettbezug. Der Stoff ist mit einem Schutz-Mantra kalligraphiert.

Dann habe ich aus kleinen Stoffresten ein Biscournu genäht. Gesehen habe ich das in einem anderen Blog. Zuerst ein gesticktes, dann die Patchworkvariante. Leider weiss ich die Blog-Url nicht mehr, aber ich fand es eine nette Idee, meine vielen kleinen Stofflicken, die ich immer aufhebe, zu verarbeiten. Ging ganz schnell und taugt nun vielleicht als Nadelkissen?
Und: Meine Schachbrettblume blüht auch in diesem Jahr wieder!
Das ist ja eine fabelhafte Idee.

For the Mini Swap we dyed shirts and stenciled them with crocusi.
The blue was supposed to turn out green. Don't know what happened, but I like it anyway.

I made this one as a birthday present for a friend. We gave a 2 weeks trial for an organic vegetable box delivered to her home. I use this kind of service for years and just love it.
For the gift-box I bought a little box for toy stores and sewed fruits from felt. My daughter just loved it.
Last week I made this quick birthday present for our neighbour. It's a napkin, a personalized coaster and a fabric cupcake. I like practical presents and as the little guy (3) has his birthday short after christmas, there was no need to give toys. The patterns of the napkin and coaster are losely taken out of "Bend the rules sewing" by Amy
This is the adventcalendar I made for my daughter. The little pockets and Nutshells are filled with Playmobil, little sweets (dried fruits), stickers etc. The pattern for the sock can be found here.

I haven't been lazy. Just found no time or inspiration to post. So here's what I made lately. This is for a Halloween Swap via Club Creative. I also made another Halloween ATC, but forgot to take a photo of it.
This is a chocolate wrap. I will submit this also as my entry for this weeks Saturday Stamper theme "Hallowe'en"
And this one is a sewn ATC hanger.
