I really want to knit something nice for my baby boy as long as he still is a baby. And it happens too fast anyway that they grow. So I decided to make him a winter cardigan, because days are getting colder. As I am really picky when it comes to yarn, I ordered some organic animal fair wool from Finkhof. I don't want those mass produced and cruel to sheep yarn from yarn stores.

Through ravelry and anny purls blog I found this lovely pattern for a cardigan.

The gauge fit, so I started. The pattern says that there's no need to size this up. I started the cardigan for a 6 month old baby. Having worked maybe 1 third I somehow got the impression that the cardigan is too small. I tried it on F. and I was right. Too small for my 5 months old boy. Oh dear.
So I started another one, this time one size larger. I hope it fits now. Let's see if I get it done before winter comes :-)
