We had a nice day. I figured out that my pixie is much more balanced and herself when she can be outside. A lot. I wonder why sometimes I tend to forget it. Or why it is so hard to drag myself out of my routines and lethargy. However, the morning we spend doodling around, I did some soldering for a swap, she was listening to audiobooks and crafting presents for me and herself. Later we felted balls and parts to be a horse broche later. The weather was nice, it didn't rain (like the whole last week), so we did the felting on the balcony. After lunch we hopped on our horses..erh...bikes and made a trip to the nearby forest. The pixie insisted on the dolls to come with her.
The forest was all nice, but there have been so many mosquitos.
So pixie decided that we'll leave the forest and I suggest to go to a nearby playgroud, which we did. She had lots of fun there, showing me all kind of secret paths. I collected some wild plants & herbs for a salat. Near the playground there's a place where horses, cocks & hens and sheep live. We went to that place and admired the sheep and fed them gras.
We plugged all the wool from the fence and my pixie collected it in her pocket. She suggested that we could dye the wool and she wants to make something of it. So I told her some plants that we can use for dying. We decided to take birch leaves (I've never tried it before). After 2 hours outside we went home, all hungry and feeling good. I read her from a book how to treat the wool next. So now the wool is soaking in the water to clean. I really like how she is being interested in all kind of things. It was a perfect homeschooling field trip. I am blessed to have such a wonderful child. More about the wool in following post. Unfortunately the batteries of my camera died during the trip.

The photo of your daughter on her bike with babies is wonderful! It really made me smile. What a nice way to spend mother's day.
