Yesterday I handed in my Diploma at the university! It felt like such a relief. Now I am almost done with all the projects. Just one more job (a flyer and bussiness card) which is almost done and some mailart doodles. 34 more days and the baby will show up. I can't imagine how life will be after that. Surprise surprise :-) But I am looking forward to it. A lot.
A few days ago we found two empty bird nests in a nearby bush. We took them home for further examination and exploration. Want to find out which birds they belonged to and everything. In one nest there even was a 2 cent coin. Must have been rich birds in that one :-)
Today my daughter brought frog spawn home from school. They have a little pond next to the school where lots of frogs are pairing now. So the children are all excited about the wobbly spawn. Now we want to see how the frog spawn develops. It takes 8-10 days until we'll have the first pollywogs. Oh dear, this child really should be lucky that I am not one of those noble city women. I am grown up in a village and my parents were open to all kind of experiments and nature exploration as well. So go on child, learn what you want to know!
i wish there would be large enough nests to sleep in. the nest is breathtaking! i wonder how birds really are able to build such a work of art?
you are a BRILLIANT mother ramona :) children can learn so much from nature!
