Another nature journal entry. This time in Marthe's journal.
Another nature journal entry. This time in Marthe's journal.
I have been very busy today as some deadlines of art swaps are approaching. I enjoy some time for myself (and the baby) and got a few things done while having the baby in the sling. It took me 3 days to finish this page for a fat book. It's made with watercolour paints and rubberstamps from Quietfiredesign (Quote and Flourish), Oxford Impressions (Nest) and Stampington (Text). It measures 20 x 20 cm.

Finally I also sewed the pillow case for a swap via Club Creative. Sandra is my partner and she wished for something that would match her brand new bedcover. I made a pillow case that has a pocket for a little journal to keep ideas. There's also a pen holder and pencil so you have something to write at hand when the ideas keep poping in your head while you snuggle on your couch.
I am taking part in a nature journal RR with 4 other players in Norway, USA and Romania. How exciting. This is my journal and the first entry. It will travel to Romania next.

7 deadly sins ATC's made via Club Creative
For Vesnas Box so far I made a little collage (9 x 9 cm) and a folded card.
A decorated matchbox. It contains a vial with daisy seeds. the tag says: "plant a seed and it will grow"
The Rubberstamps I used are from Quietfiredesign, the eyed daisy from zettiology.
For the inside of my motherhood box I made a tag book where each participant shall decorate a page (as sign in). This is what I decorated so far:

This is my contribution to the Green Challenge on MadeByHand. I'll send it as ad on for the Earth Day Calligraphy Exchange. I made envelopes out of old calendar pages and sewed the calligraphed adress labels on top of it. Rubberstamp is by Quietfiredesign.
Two of those tulips started to bloom on my balcony. They smell divine! (And I love this camera of my man!)
I signed up for a theme box swap via Club Creative. Only now I come around working on it. The theme of my box will be motherhood. During the RR it will be filled with art of the other participants according to the theme. This is the box from the outside:
This is my art for this week's Make a moo or two theme "women". I made tags that will be sent off in envelopes that I made for a calligraphy envelope exchange (theme was Black & White)
I am totally absorbed in my studies (only 2 more weeks until my diploma is due, 6 more weeks until the baby is due). That's why I am so silent in here. But, yesterday I managed to send out my part for the hand book swap via Altered Guild. The template is made from my own hand and I created 13 pages. They will be bound together in a book with the pages of the other participants and in the end every player will get a hand book with hopefully beautyful art. I am really curious how the others hands look like!
The stamps I used are from Quietfiredesign
